HISTORY DAY PART 5!

Here is the short term legacy of my History Day project! hope you enjoy! During his term, Eisenhower helped schools in the South begin to integrate African Americans. He passed two civil rights laws in 1957 and 1960, hoping to start this process. Inspite of the abuse the students endured, they provided leadership towards those who were still receiving a poor education. They helped support this movement as well. Bye!
