Grading Day!

Well folks. It's been real. It's been fun. It hasn't really been real fun. ;). I hope you enjoyed this while it lasted. I may never do this ever again! I can't believe it! We've had so many good memories. I loved doing this and I hate to leave. It is easier to just write in a journal but I decided to do this because I love this. Anyways, school is soon and I should probably leave. I love this sooooo much and I hate to leave so yea. I can't believe I'm actually leaving! It's so realllll! Wow. Just wow. This is crazy bruh. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that I'm now done and I may never blog again! Wow. I feel like it will be nice. So yay. I guess? I don't know if I want to leave or not. IM SO CONFUSED! RECORDING

So OMG I'm recording a music video! At 12:30 I went to the house of music with my sister and a friend. We recorded it all like 10 times for the editing. On my instagram (___coleee33___) I posted a photo of all the equipment. It's pretty sweet if you ask me. I'm really super duper excited and can't wait for it to come out. The song is called glory and its so beautiful and strong that it gives everybody chills. That's not even an exaggeration. Anyways, I am realllllyyyyy excited like holy poop! It's really legit too! There was two professional cameramen working the video and they are using there work time to edit it! It's really serious! I honestly can not wait!!!!!! This is so cool and I can't believe I'm getting this experience!!!

   Anyways, I should go. I got a lot of stuff to do. Bye!

SUPER ROAD TRIP!!!

    So on Friday (we have the day off) we are going to wake up at 5:00 and go on a road trip! Our destination is Florida but Ill get there in a minute. So. First things first (I'm the realist). We will be waking up at 5:00 and put our things in the car. Then, we will drive to my grandparents house to drop off our dogs. We will ten begin our journey. Our first stop is St. Louis, only 8 hours away. We will go see the arch and then rest there. When we wake up we will drive to Nashville, and see where Jack White records his music! We will sleep there as well. Finally, we'll make the final run to Bradenton, Florida. Our Grandma will be there waiting for us and I love her soooooo much I can't wait to see her! We will probably sight see, do some swimming, but most importantly spend family time with grandma!

Pre Journal grading Day.

   So once again I'm blogging the day before the journals are going to be graded. I'm very nervous as usuall that I won't have enough posts but whatever I guess. I'm going to be doing a journal next quarter cuz it's easier to do on my long road trip and stuff. So yea. I can't wait. I'll tell you about my road trip in the next post ok? Sounds good. I thought I'd do a life catchup sort of thing here so I'm going to do so.

    So. Life has been ok so far the past weeks. I had a debate tournament (where I failed btw) on Saturday and even though I bombed, it was still super fun to be there. So I guess it wasn't all a waste. PLUS WE GOT PIZZA AND I GOT TO HANG OUT WITH MY BEST FRIENDS EVER SO HOORAY!!!

HISTORY DAY 6!

Hope you enjoy my very own long term legacy, the kast part of my History Day project! hooooorah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eisenhower helped pave the way for the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act of 1964 and 1965: two acts that showed as a pivotal moment in the Civil Rights Movement. The Little Rock Nine continues to influence many through The Little Rock Nine Foundation: an organization promoting the ideal of equal opportunity for all. Yet Eisenhower’s leadership inspired many to carry out his legacy, helping to progress towards a segregation free nation. I'm done! YAYYYYYYYYYY! I got to go Bye!

Here is the short term legacy of my History Day project! hope you enjoy! During his term, Eisenhower helped schools in the South begin to integrate African Americans. He passed two civil rights laws in 1957 and 1960, hoping to start this process. Inspite of the abuse the students endured, they provided leadership towards those who were still receiving a poor education. They helped support this movement as well. Bye!

HISTORY DAY PART 4

Here is the heart of my History Day project. Enjoy! On September 2, 1957, the National Guard was ordered by Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus to prohibit nine African American students from entering Little Rock Central High School. Hearing this, Eisenhower met with Faubus, ordering him to call off the guards. At first Faubus refused, but with additional pressure, he removed them. The following Monday, over 1,000 angry protesters gathered near the high school, screaming and spitting at the nine students. For safety, the students were removed. Finally, Eisenhower addressed the nation and sent in the U.S Army’s 101st Airborne Division to protect the nine students. On September 25, the “Little Rock Nine” were escorted into the high school. Over time, the nine were able to enter the school without the army’s protection. Although their first years were hard, on May 27, 1958, Ernest Green, received his diploma, becoming the first African American to graduate from Little Rock Central. Hope you liked it! As I said before, I'd be putting up my History Day stuff so here is my very own BUILDUP! In 1954, a U.S Supreme Court case known as “Brown vs. Board of Education” was brought up in controversy as to the constitutionality of segregated schools. The Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas was denying 20 African American students from attending a white school only a few blocks away simply because of their skin. The African Americans won the case, justifying that segregated schools were unconstitutional and a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Enjoy!

HISTORY DAY CONTINUED

As I said before, I'd be putting up my History Day stuff so here is my very own BACKGROUND! Beginning in the 1880’s, the majority of U.S states enforced segregation. This was accomplished through the “Jim Crow” laws. These were legal punishments to those who interacted with or supported those of another race. In September 1957, nine African American youth were denied the right to enter Little Rock Central High School, resulting in President Eisenhower sending troops to escort the students inside. The leadership Eisenhower displayed took a stand against discrimination, sparking progress that paved the way for federal acts of desegregation passed in the 1960s. Hope you enjoyed! Bye! When love lost itself, it asked to carry out its legacy, and that's all I'm here for. Yet there's more to life than me and you, and there's more to love than falling into it. You must stumble and trip, scrape your heart and soul, and stand on your blood and gore. When thin turns to thick, and love begins to die, you must always leave a trail of hope behind you because love is always following you, whether miles away, or maybe just around the corner.

So when god leaves a drop of love on your shoulder, carry that drop through life's journey, and who knows, maybe that dream of yours may come true.

So. Hello. How are you today? I'm crappy. I seriously hate myself. This is a depressing post. 99% of you just left didn't you. ADMIT IT. I feel so sad right now. It's not even funny. I'm like crying. Randomness: Good Life? Good Life.

So I've been recently kind of depressed but now I'm feeling pretty good so that's nice! I feel pretty good! So yah. Idek I kind of feel sad right now because I dressed up super fancy today and now for some reason I'm super depressed because now I'm going to go to school looking like an idiot. Cause that's how ugly I am. Wow, this turned depressing. I'm not really sure if I want to keep talking because I'm so depressed :(. I'm ANGRY AND MAINLY SAD. YouTube?

    So I've been contemplating about whether I should get a YouTube account or not for a long time and it wasn't until like recently that I decided to get one. I still haven't really gotten one yet but I will soon. For those of you who read this please subscribe. Ill put a link to it on an upcoming blog so you ca check it out! I think it will be pretty fun to do so I going to give it a shot. Cause why not? Lets do it. I'm feeling really inspired to go run on a treadmill right now but I have homework :/. I used my toe to close the door my friends began to cheer. 

But then I heard the school bell ring my friends yelled yea were done!

I panicked as I figured out that summer had begun!

I tried to open up the door but somehow it had locked. So I began to kick and scream I shouted and I knocked

But it was all of little use cause everyone was gone

I tried to bust my locker door but didn't have the brawn

Most kids will spend their summer playing games like tag or soccer. But not poor me I'll spend my summer trapped inside my locker.

Rock Band!!!

   Hellos everyone. I hate blogging al of a sudden. It's not very interesting I feel like and it's becoming more of a chore than anything else. Aghhhh😭. I seriously don't want to do this and I'm so mad in doing it. I'm going to talk about rock band cuz why not. This is rock band: it's super fun to be able to play music and sing and do stuff while performing. We have lots of performance opportunities and its cool to see everyone and how they've improved over a period of time. Recently I played riptide, on top of the world, and an original by me and August. They were all pretty good. Anyways, there was a lot of cool things there and even the teachers played! Ms. Jorde replaced Cozette because she was sick and couldn't come. But it was all good. Ms. Jorde played quite nicely with us. It was all fun. Anyways, that's rock band for you! Grumpy Teachers RANT

So, we all get grumpy sometimes, and that's understandable. What's not is letting it out on someone else. for example, TEACHERS. You can tell the minute you see one. There usually frowning, ignoring all human life, making unnecessary comments, and mainly being extremely rude and obnoxious to students! I'll just ask a simple question and they'll start yelling at me and creating this huge scene out of it, like a baby trying to draw attention. It's insane! They will literally walk right by you and when you say hello, they just give you an evil glare. It's creepy!!! Or when you know they are in a bad mood and you think they say your name and you sit there not really sure if you are supposed to respond or not. It's really scary. My heart skips a beat! They just absolutely are in a terrible mood. It's like there on an extremely emphasized period, like seriously! I'm not kidding! And then when you ask them if they are mad, they just look at you and tell you to go sit down. It's weird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anywas, I should go cause I got a big assignment in each class except science right now. Later peeps! That's my rant! Bye!

Citywide Shoutout!

Okay, I decided to post this because tomorrow I'm going on a citywide meeting with my friends (not all of them). It's a student led government created and designed to help students, parents, and teachers around MN. It's super cool and fun to go to. It's really nice to know that I'm making a difference in my community. So Yah. Boom. Clap. Boom dee Clap dee Clap. That was my interlude. Anyways, I've probably already talked to you guys about it but I'm doing it again cause I got a meeting coming up. Anyways, it's really fun, and it shows a good moral. "With strong students and a little help from a teacher, anything is possible." Oh, I should talk about our leader. So, as I said, it's led by students. I lied. Well, kind of lied. The main work is split between the student president and the teacher that organizes the event (cause, you know, we are just kids). Anyways, our teacher is really nice, yet not super smart at technology. She didn't know how to stop the microphone from screeching so I had to walk up there like a jerk and tell her what not to do. I looked like such a nerd. The only reason I knew that was because I play a lot of music and sing so I need to know this stuff (just like our teacher). But it's all good. Wasssssup y'all. Its crazy cole and TODAY I'd thought I will tell you about lemurs. They are absolutely adorable and I love to cuddle with them (though I have never actually done it). They jump a lot and have cool tails. They are very cute as well. Incase I didnt say it yet, I love this show called zaboomafoo. It recently canceled though because the main character (who is a lemur) DIED. Its so sad and I didn't like it at alllllllllllllllll. Anyways, I am deeply apologizing for this bad post. I am doing it on my phone and it types crappy and is all weird and stuff :(. Anyways, my next post might be like this too. Depends on when I get out of bed and when I get on my computer. So this weekly thing might actually work out! Spotify Shoutout!

   So I'm bored, and when I'm bored, I listen to music. But guess what! I synced my iPod a few days ago and it lost all of its music! I was so mad! I had nothing to listen to, until Spotify. Spotify slows you to listen to all the music you want to for free! Play any song whenever! It's the greatest deal ever. With only a few ads in between every few songs, you really do get a bargain! You can create playlists, listen to certain songs, or listen to genres of songs put in pre-created playlists made just for you! It's such a great app and I advise getting it on all your devices. The only downer is you need wifi, but with kids these days, that shouldn't be a problem ;). Anyways that's today's Shoutout. Also, next post is going to be about an organized schedule! My Weekend (a little late but whatever) (actually this is only going to be about Saturday)

         So here I'm going to post about my weekend. I didn't really do much so it's hard to talk about. Also I can't really remember much:/. So yah. I think I went bowling. I did homework! I coached my sisters basketball game that she wasn't at. We one though so its all good. My sister was at a gems tournament and found that she is moving on to district. My moms not really excited because that means she has to drive her at 7:30 in the morning. We can only hope she doesn't make it to state😂. Anyways, I'm having problems remembering what happened over my weekend so sorry. I know that I'm getting a four day weekend next so yay! Even more stuff I can't remember! Alright, I should go... Fun at the Field Trips!

    So I had so much fun at the field trips!!!! The first place we went to was the Ordway. Someone from Cote de Ivoire was there doing a performance. It was really cool. She played about ten songs, then ended. On the last song we all got to dance!!! It was really fun and exciting! Then we went to the landmark center to have lunch. It was super cool and the architecture was beautiful. Some people got in trouble though because they spilled a lot of food. Then we took another bus to the UofM campus, were we saw the Physics Force. The Physics Force is a group of 6ish people that go around and do cool science tricks with physics! They varied from air-pressure cannons to exploding huge cans (that last one made Streit freak out;). Then, sadly, we had to go back to school. We finished up on our Spanish for fifteen minutes then went to Science. We went over last weeks experiment and set up tomorrows one for, well, tomorrow! So then at home I basically listened to music and did homework (and ate pizza) all night. So that's all for today folks! Have fun. Bye!

Field Trips!

       So yesterday I found out that I was going on the barnebirkie!!!!! I'm so excited!  Didn't think I'd make it! It turns out that a lot of my friends are going too! Tommy, Haley, Lola, and lots more! It's going to be soooo fun. Also, this Monday we are going to go on a double field trip! It's a physics event and a performance at the Guthrie. It will be so fun and I'm so excited. Wow. I'm way behind on my blogging:/. I need to keep writing. Speaking of writing, I'm currently attempting to write 6 songs! If I write and perform them on my dads birthday bash then I get an iPhone 6!!!! I'm so excited! So far I've written 2 and I'm almost done with my third! So yea. That's it right now. I should go. My Mommies Birthday!!!

        So yesterday was my mommies birthday!!!!!!!!!!! It was so exciting!!!!!! We had cake, ate takeout (from Naviyas), and opened presents. She loved it. She was kind of sick though gtg brb. I'm back! So. It was sooo fun. We also watched tv. The cake we had was tiger cake. It is the best cake ever!!!!!! So. Yah. This is a short post srry. Bye!

My Very Exciting New Years

          So. Here (though I am a little late) I am going to talk about my NYE/NY party. It's pretty cool if I do say so myself. So first my cousins came over for dinner and we had TACOSSSS!!! They were so freaking yummy! I loved It. They tasted amazing. They were technically burritos since we didn't have hard shells though :/. Whatever. Anyways, a little later my dads college friend from college (duh) came over. He's really cool and its really fun to hang out with him. He gave us another piano, a new amp (it was small), a guitar (a basic strat), a whammy pedal (😜), and a disco ball!!! I know right! It was so cool. So. Anyways. We didn't do that much past that. When 12:00 finally can around, we yelled. A lot. A lot a lot. It was so fun. We had fake champagne and it tasted amazing. My mom tricked me into drinking some real champagne instead of my fake stuff that I love. It was kinda good, but I probably shouldn't admit that😂. Anyways, that was really it. Later dudes. Throwback to Christmas!

So since i didn't get to blog on Christmas I'm going to talk about it now, because I'm really behind on my posts :/. So, Christmas Eve was just partying, cause we all know that Christmas day is the real deal. So, Here is what I got for Christmas: A fake bow, A Dunn Bros gift card, a Ipod controlled flying device, some speaker system, and a whole lot more. It was a pretty good christmas. It is really hard to write on my computer so this is going to be short, the next post won't be though, don't worry. All righty then, how was your christmas? LONGEST POST EVER!

    Ok. I'm going to try and create the longest post ever. I didn't feel like blogging over break because I was spending time with my family! So now in going to blog about some of the stuff that happened in my rest of 2⃣0⃣1⃣4⃣. First, I'm going to fill in my reading log. BRB! Ok. I'm back. I'm really bored so I'm going to make this into a bunch of different posts to have more! So here it goes. The days leading up to Christmas were full of holiday cheer and..... Boring :/. It wasn't very interesting to be quite honest. What I DID do, however, was have a fun Christmas party with some cousins and my grandma. It was so cool! I got a new awesome hat and a really sweet poster. We did it secret Santa style 😜 if you know what I mean ;). So yea. I listened to a crapload of Christmas music and dressed like a party freak.
