HISTORY DAY PART 3

As I said before, I'd be putting up my History Day stuff so here is my very own BUILDUP! In 1954, a U.S Supreme Court case known as “Brown vs. Board of Education” was brought up in controversy as to the constitutionality of segregated schools. The Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas was denying 20 African American students from attending a white school only a few blocks away simply because of their skin. The African Americans won the case, justifying that segregated schools were unconstitutional and a violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. Enjoy!
