HISTORY DAY CONTINUED

As I said before, I'd be putting up my History Day stuff so here is my very own BACKGROUND! Beginning in the 1880’s, the majority of U.S states enforced segregation. This was accomplished through the “Jim Crow” laws. These were legal punishments to those who interacted with or supported those of another race. In support of this, the 1896 Supreme Court case “Plessy vs. Ferguson” ruled that it was constitutional to have separate facilities for blacks and whites as long as they were equal. Hope you enjoyed! Stay Tuned! Bye!
