All-Nighter?
So right now I'm at my cousins house and we are watching stuff on the computer. We were joking about doing an all-nighter but now it's getting closer and closer. Man I'm hungry. Anyways, I'm currently in bed, half asleep. It's kinda weird the feeling I have right now. It's like a dreamy space noodle jiggling through space. Now that should clear things up. I'm craving fooooooood. I neeeeed it so badly right now. We are still hanging. I hung out with Becca and Alana today! It was fun. They first came over here for 30 minutes, then we went to there house. We saw Frozen (for me it was the first time) and had some amazing food. It was really nice. I'll show some pics of everything that's happened today. Stay tuned! Me and Mollie were talking sooooo much over Instagram today. I don't really know what I'm doing so I should go. I'm just rambling on right now. I'm leaving. Bye!

Sunday Happenings.
So today a lot if little stuff decided to occur in my life. The first being the Viking game. It was against the Miami Dolphins and it was a close game throughout. We ended up losing but it was still a fair game. Anyways, I gtg fold laundry. BRB!!! Kk I'm back! So anyways Dan came over again and we jammed. Then I watched TFIOS. I will admit it; I did get watery eyes. However, I DID NOT CRY! I'm so proud of myself;). Then I went to bed. Actually I'm not in bed yet. I'm brushing my teeth. Ok, now I'm done. Bye!
Christmas with the Pivecs!!!
So yesterday I had Christmas with my dads side of the family. It was super fun. Here is the gist: so we do it in secret Santa form and we basically draw names out of a hat and we get a gift for that person. I had my cousin Eve and my cousin Maia had me. I got Eve a gift card and some earrings. Maia got me a hat that says fierce on it, a cool artsy poster, and a Mario figurine. It was all SOOOO COOOL! Anyways, that was really it. My dad's friend Dan came over and they went out to a bar. I went out to my room to SLEEP! So that's all for yesterday. I will show you my next post really soooon. Bye!

Yesterday's Activities
So yesterday wasn't really that exciting. The first half of the day (from 1st to lunch) was normal. But right after lunch my five friends got on the bus to go BOWLING. I ended up with a terrible score (I don't actually know the exact score) but its all good. Our table played with Mr. Deperry. It sucked. He made us look bad. Anyways, I'm currently watching YouTube vids. Not very exciting. I got to go soon. Yesterday we went to my friends south high school game. He lost and he didn't want to go to the malt shop afterwards so it kind of ended. Finally my family watched Lampoon's Vacation. It wasn't as good as Christmas Vacation but whatever. I got to go know. See yah later!!!

Language Arts
Blah. That's kind of how I feel right now. I'm in language arts (hence the title) and blogging along with Serene, Christa, and Ping will be too. I recently saw this poem that's really super duper sadðŸ˜. It's about this guy that is telling about how he is getting bored on his marriage. I read it with Emma Miller the first time and we were laughing in sadness. I know, it's a weird blend. DEAL WITH IT? SPUZZY IN THE HOUSE!!!! I AM AMAZING AND COOL!!!!!! I LOVE SPUZ SO MUCH SND SHE IS FANTASTIC!! SHE IS BETTER THAN ALL YOU PEOPLE READING THIS. UNLESS YOU ARE BEYONCE... BECAUSE THEN, WELL, WELL YOU'RE BEYONCE SO YOU SLAY!!!!! I LOVE YOU CC SQUARED!! Hey cole again! I'm back. So today we are going to be bowling but I'm probably going to get out into a terrible group. Whatever I gtg bye!

Poetry Foundation!
So I'm really excited about this new app called poetry foundation. I mentioned it in my previous blog but what you do is you put your phone on, shake it, and it makes a poem for you to read. I've read so many already! They are all so good and fun. I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!! Anyways, the website that we are creating in stem is not that bad actually. A lot of people stole my idea which made me pretty mad but I guess it's okay. It is really boring though and I must say that. Our sub isn't that bad and I don't see her as a bad teacher! Anyways, Once again I must go soon. I'll tell you about my life first. So Monday was boring (as usual). I think I didn't do anything but homework. It was really boring. Oh, by the way, last Wednesday I got Dairy Queeeeeeeeen!!! I had peppermint with MandMs. It honestly wasn't that good but I do not care. It was still fun to hang out with the boyz for a bit before we all leave for a year, waiting till next season to come so we can come together again. So yeah. Now It's the last week before winter break, and I am soooooo excited!!! Only a few more days!!! Anyways, we are doing this secret santa thing with my friends and I have Mitra. I'm going to give her something today... Yay! Anyways, I really should go soon. It's been a long post. Although, it's not as long as Serene Puzak's Posts holy crap they are long. Go check her out if you haven't yet!!!!!! Just go to Lake Harriet then go to Mr. Sreits blogs and there you will find!!!! It is so crazy to think we get two weeeeeks off! It is going to be so fun. This Saturday we are having our Secret Santa celebration with my Cousins on my dad's side of the family (The Pivecs). I am so excited and I want to know who has meeeeeeee! Alright, I should go soon. Bye!!!!!!! Jk I'm not done yet. Now I am! Bye!!!!!!!!!
Check-Up!!!
So today I have a checkup, and I'm really worried. What if Mr. Streit doesn't think my blog is good enough?!? I'm kinda worried yet at the same time not really. I think I should have a long enough blog poss... I think? So anyways, I'll tell you about my life over the next few days in a series of blogs. But today I am going on a citywide meeting which are always fun. I haven't gone to one in a while. I'll attach a few pics. Then I'm going to finish up two hours of school and have a debate party!!!! I'm really pumped! Also, I got this sweet poetry app called Poetry Foundation. It's where you shake up your I-device and it selects a random poem for you. They are all so good and all lot of them are funny!!! Anyways, I think I am getting towards the end of this blog. I hope I have written enough!!!!!!! Alright, I should go. Bye!

New Journal?
So today I decided to get hype about redecorating my Language arts journal. Notice: I said get hype, not get ready. This is because I currently do not have any duct tape in my possession at this time. I'm going to have my first page be NHD (history day) notes. It's going to be quite nicer then my old one, even though it's the same one as last time. I'm so hungry. I did absolutely nothing today. I'm watching football right now. I think I'll do a countdown tomorrow on my all time favorite things about Christmas. Starts Tomorrow! Stay tuned! Bye.

Boredom: Sickness Part 1
So they reason I haven't been logging is because I was and am currently sick. I have a terrible cough, a stuffed nose, frequent migraines, the usual sickness starter pack. So it really has hurt my eyes to look at screens, and yesterday I literally got home and went to bed. So now here I am, complaining to my viewers on my terrible sickness. I'll try to keep you more updated on this stuff now. Becca says I have a boring blog so I'm going to try and change that. So I'm now going to do daily blogs, or at least try. Bye!

Debate Tournament!
So yesterday I had a debate tournament and my team didn't do so well. I got 9th in solo JV though but it still wasn't even comparable to Haley who got 1st in Varsity. Anyways, we got home really late and I had to do homework so that is why I didn't blog. My team went 0-3 but I'm planning on switching partners. That's all for yesterday. Bye!!!

Tuesday: Volleyall Game
So I had a volleyball game today and we didn't do so well. We had only 5 players and they had over 10. Ugh. We lost every game. Then I forgot my coat and my dad got mad at me. When I went back to the park to look for it and it wasn't there. Then my dad got mad and I found out that my coach had took it home. So it's all good now. That's all for today. Tomorrow I have a debate tournament to go to so yay!!!!! Bye!
Homework...
So Sunday I had a boatload of homework so I'm going to keep this short. All I did was homework, in my robe, donated from the Murphys. That's all. Bye.
Friday/Saturday: Thanksgiving Part 2
So Friday I had my second Thanksgiving (yes I'm having two) and it was really hard to say which one was better. I mean, the food here wasn't the best. The mashed potatoes were really dry and we didn't have any gravy. Everything else was pretty good, even though we didn't have much. The dessert the second Thanksgiving easily won. We had THREE pies, one cake thingy, and mini cupcakes. The friends part was hard though. I loved hanging out with them both so much. Once with my friends, once with my cousins. I always have a good time with them. Finally, after they left, one of my cousins stayed over for a sleepover. It was really cooooooool. We watched anima, played card games, and slept. A lot. When we woke up on Saturday we decided that after watching some manga, we'd go down to Beards Plaisance. Incase you don't know what it is, it's basically a huge amazing sledding hill that is not so popular. I called up a friend and all four of us went there. It was so fun and fast. I had a great time, even though my friend had to go early. When we got home, my dad and I went to Champp's to watch the Gopher game against Wisconsin. We had a veggie burger, mozzarella sticks, and of course, some fries and root beer. Even though we lost, it was still pretty cool to go out there. Then we stopped and got DQ on our way home. It was so yummy. We ate it while watching the Expendables 3. It was very intense and action packed, but what else can you expect from Sylvester Stallone. Anyways, when we got done with the movie, we pretty much wentto bed. I stayed up and read my book a little bit longer but then I went to bed as well. So that's al for those days. Bye!
Thankgiving!!!
So my Thanksgiving was so amazing! I went to my friends Eddie's house and for the first while we played our song that we would be doing in our recital. Then we found some super sharp knives and began ripping up paper and cans and cardboard. That lasted for about an hour. Finally, we got to eat. It was super awesome because my sister's birthday was on Thanksgiving and it was amazing to have twice the food. We got mashed potatoes, gravy, fruit, and so much other stuff too! For dessert we had cupcakes, pie, and whipped cream with ice cream. It was all so amazing. I absolutely loved it! So that was my Thanksgiving. Stay tuned because I'm having another Thanksgiving tomorrow and I'm also having a sleepover!. Bye for now!

Wednesday: First Day Of Break!
So today was the very first day of a long break. Tomorrow is my sisters birthday as well as thanksgiving. I got her some cool stuff. On top of that, today was pretty cool. I got to hang out with Becca and Alana before they left for Iowa, which was pretty cool. I also got another x-box controller. Then I played FIFA 13 and pretty much went to bed. Tomorrow I'm going over to a friends house for Thanksgiving. It sounds fun. There will probably be a long post coming so be prepared... Anyways, that's all for today. Now to watch some youtube........................ Bye!

Tuesday: Right Sock Day.
So today in Mr. Streits class we all wore our right sock and no shoe and nothing else. We also watched more of the Anne Frank movie. Then we saw half of Apollo 13 with Mrs. Hartzell (our science amazing sub). Then I had a volleyball game. We won two of three,. It was pretty fun. That's all for today. Bye!
Monday: Anne Frank
So yesterday I had Language Arts and we saw a little bit of the Anne Frank Movie. Mr. Streit is making us watch it in 15 minute incriments per day which think is really lame. So anyways, that was all that was really interesting yesterday. Today is technically Friday because of thanksgiving break. SO yay!!!!!!! Bye.
Friday. STEAM DAY preperation.
So the first half of my day was pretty normal. But then in third hour I went down to Ms. Cuff's room to write a memo for a class that Haley and I are teaching down at the lower campus. Haley came down a little bit later and we finished it in 6th hour. It took as a lot longer then expected but oh well. When I got there, I was by Haley and started reading all of our notes we've written at peer mediation and stuff. Then I turned the page, and continued reading. Then I saw something that she clearly didn't want me to see because she ripped the book away. I didn't read any of it though. Then I went home and chillaxed, ate some pizza, and watched a movie. The pizza was good the movie wasn't. So then I went to bed. THE END. Bye!
Esssaaaaayyyy
So since I missed a couple of days I decided to post my essay to make it look like I wrote lot. So here it is!!!
Rudy Steiner was 10 years old when he made his appearance in The Book Thief. He was young, immature, cocky, and selfish. Yet 500 pages later he was much, much different. He grows up, goes through immense pain, and learns to deal with the sorrow he has felt. Rudy changes and matures because of the hardships he has to overcome throughout his life.
When Rudy met Liesel, he began to show toughness and dignity to impress her. This was first shown on page 47, where Rudy is about to take a free kick. He encourages Liesel to stay in goal to show her how tough he can be by attempting to score on her. This also shows on page 54, where Rudy dares Liesel to race him. If he won, Liesel had to give him a kiss. It was then that Rudy made it self-evident that he had a crush on Liesel as well as that he felt the need to step up his game to impress her.
When Rudy was sent to the Hitler Youth Group, he began to get a lot stronger and more serious. This becomes evident on page 268, where his friend Tommy doesn’t hear the instruction to halt at a Hitler Youth meeting. When he begins to get in trouble, Rudy steps in to defend him, only to get punished along with him. This also comes to show when he encounters his Hitler Youth leader Franz Deutscher on page 295 and decides to throw a rock at him. When Deutscher spun around, he immediately knocked Rudy to the ground and began to cut his hair. All these incidences made Rudy stronger as well as more mature.
When Rudy’s dad goes off to war, he begins to grow a soft and loving side, apart from his usually tough attitude. This first occurs on page 409, when Nazi Soldiers ask for Rudy to join in a specialized group in the name of the Führer. When the Steiners refuse, Alex, Rudy’s dad, says he will take his place. Yet Rudy doesn’t show any signs of sadness or anger until page 426, where Rudy begins to walk to “kill the Führer.” But Liesel came with him, and she soon convinced him otherwise. This also shows on page 455, where Rudy and Liesel sneak into his dad’s suit shop. As Rudy is trying on a suit, he began to fall to the floor laughing. But soon, the tears of laughter turned to tears of sadness as he realizes how much he misses his father. That is how Rudy grew a loving side to his “tough guy” attitude.
Rudy changes and matures throughout the book because of the many hardships and consequences he has to deal with in his life. Liesel brought out the tough and dignified side of him. Franz Deutscher and the Hitler Youth group made him stronger and more mature. Finally, when his dad leaves for war Rudy develops the most important feeling of all; Love. Those are just a few of the major moments that happened in Rudy’s life, as well as how he changed because of them. Thank You.
So thatwas my essay. I hoped you enjoyed it. A lot more posts will be coming out very soon so hang tight! Bye.

Hello...
Sorry I haven't been blogging lately but there has been so much homework lately it has been driving me insane.
So there has been a lot of drama the past week. I'm not going to use real names but here is the story: Jason and Madeline have been dating for 6 months and recently Madeline hasn't really liked him as much. So just yesterday they broke up and now Jason is extremely sad that now they are apart because he didn't want the breakup to happen and now he misses her. Since I felt bad, I tried to help them, which was a big mistake. Let me give you an idea. It's like walking into the crossfire of a battle. It only made things more difficult. I just want them to come to better terms instead of being really sad. So that's the dramatic side of my life right now. Otherwise I'm pretty good. I'm getting ready for a S.T.E.A.M day at the lower campus. Me and Haley are running a class. We are going to write little memo for our class we are teaching tomorrow. Otherwise it's going to be another normal day. I love foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. That was so long. Anyways, I gota go now for no apparent reason. See you all later! Bye!

Sunday: Sledding with Tommy!
So during the long wait for the Murphys to get home, I did a couple of things. One, eat. I was so hungry his weekend I probably ate the equivalent of a house. Two, sleep. I was also really tired. It took so long to go to bed and I never really caught up. Three, sled. I went to Beards Plaisance. It was soooooo fun. We went on a huge jump that gave us 5 seconds of air (not summer ;). Anyways, that's all that was really happening this weekend. Now I'm watching some Sunday night football. Soon 'm going to bed. Have fun! Bye.
Saturday: CAKE
So yesterday I wen to my friend Tommy's house, and we went sledding. It was so perfect. The snow outside was very slippery and great for going downhill. Then we had yummy cake and made moustaches with it. I'll post a pic in my next post. Anyways, we also played this cool battleship game where you entered coordinates and it was all electronic. It was super amazing. Today I'm going sledding again with the same person except on a bigger hill. So yeah. Here's a picture of an animal. Bye.

Movie #1: Cool Runnings!!!
This is very clearly one of my favorite movies of all time. It is so funny, entertaining, and great for a family movie night. I've seen this movie so many times it's hard to get over. I just love it so muchhhh. Anyways, I noticed that August and I's song got taken off the websie and I'm freaking out. I don't know what happened and I'm insanely worried. I need time to figure this out. that is why my post is so short. I'm legit about to scream. I don't know why this is happening to me and August. I just hope it's neither of our faults :(. Sorry. Bye.

Movie #2: Now You See Me.
So I saw this movie about a year ago and i loved it. It had such an amazing plot that must have been created by master geniuses. Plus Woody Harrelson starred in it as a mind reader, which was pretty freaking cool. Anyways, this blog will be short. I had STEM today and I am trying to make a website with this blog in it. It's not working. :(......
That's all I have for today guys. It's really late and I have to get some sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. I miss my friends. BYE!

Personal Life: Performance!
Ok, I know you guys were expecting my second favorite favorite movie today, but I decided to talk about something different. So today we had an assembly, and my friend August, Jacob, and I performed our original composition. It was a pretty big hit with the croud, but the popularity wasn't really that great. It's almost embarrassing. It's like you are all one person one the stage but somebody else in person, and you're afraid that people won't really like you. So that's why popularity scares me. I guess you got a litttle more from this blog then expected but there you have it. Thanks! Bye. "I smell a smelly smell, a smelly smell that smells, smelly"-Mr. Krabs

Movie #3: The Dark Knight.
Alright, I know what you're thinking. "Really? This loser is still obsessed with The Dark Knight?(True). Doesn't he know about The Dark Kight Rises which is way better?(Also True). He's so lame. (Arguably True)." Just here me out. I just saw this for the first time like a month ago and like every movie obsession, I still haven't gotten over it yet. The Joker is absolutely phenomenal in the movie. Even though it's pretty sad throughout the movie, it is still so great. That's al I have today. I will make a personal post today too so stay tuned. Bye!

Alright listen up folks. I am a HUGE comic fan. Marvel, DC, any brand of comic brand is my loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......... And when I heard that they were making a movie about the Avengers.... I FREAKED!!!!!!! I was so happy. I think over the course of since it has came out, I've seen it like 7 times. It is such a great movie.
Anyways, I got some pretty cool new shoes today.........

Movie #5: Grease
Ok, so I know you probably have all seen this, and let me just tell you; I LOVE this movie. It s so beautiful and the acting is spectacular (though you can't expect anything different from John Travolta). I am absolutely obsessed with this movie. It only adds to the hype that it is from a couple years old.
Anyways, I had a pretty good day today, but you don't care about me that much. I am newly addicted to this podcast called Psychobabble. It's so unbelievably funny and I can't peel my ears from it. Go check it out today!
Sorry my post is so short today. Nothing really interesting is going on. I'll write more next time.
Let Go. Check Thyself before Thy Wreck Thyself. Love Y'all! Bye!

Pre-Grading Day
So today, Sunday, is one day before this blog is graded. I'm kind of maybe possibly over-stressed about it. I really want to get a decent grade on this. I just thought I'd let y'all know that. I've also been writing in my journal a lot. I wonder if it will count for anything? I have to go now. I'll see you next time!
Welcome to the Jungle!
Today I had my recital. It started at 4:30 and went until 8:00. I played Welcome to the Jungle with my friend, Eddie. We totally rocked it, if I do say so myself. It was so awesome. There were so many good players up there. I played at Famous Daves, so I ate some grilled cheese. Sorry, that was totally random. I just got back, and I'm really tired. I should go soon. I'll see you next time!
Saturday: Friendly Reunion
So yesterday morning was really slow. I hung out inside, sleeping, eating, and doing other things. Yet I knew I had to do something. Finally, around 12:00, I managed to change out of my pajamas.
*Waits for applause.
Then I went to two Ultimate Frisbee games. We lost them but we almost beat the second one but it started storming before we could finish. Then I went home to chill for an hour before going to see a friend that I haven't met for a while. The first thing I noticed was that he was simply huge. He was only 13 years old and was already six feet tall! It was unbelievable. We played some basketball, played cards, looked up random stuff, and mainly just talked. Finally, it was time to go. I ended up falling asleep in the car. Well, that pretty much raps things up. See yah!

Friday:Young Authors Conference
So a few days ago I had this thing called the Young Authors Conference. I went to three workshops, separated by a lunch session. Each session was better than the next. Two were on creating characters, and another one was about writing a screenplay. They were all so cool and I benefited from all of them. When I got back to school, I went to science, where their was cake. Yet I didn't have any, for I wasn't hungry. We then worked at microscopes. We looked at some cool plant put in fish tanks. Then, I went to math. Since we previously decorated our door and won, we got to go outside and eat dilly bars from Dairy Queen. It was so tasty. Then I went home, practiced my song with Eddie, and finally, went to SLEEP.

Thursday: Sore throats and Singing
Today was uneventful. I had a terrible throat. It hurt to talk, sing, or hum. Then I had choir. Such a great combination. NOT. Anyways, I sped through the day, and I ended up at Ultimate Frisbee practice. We worked really hard. Then I had another band practice and now here I am. Showered, in my pjs, and ready to SLEEP. See yah!
Wednesday... Field Day!
So yesterday was field day. It was really fun even though we did not get to go to all of the events. I won a few ribbons. The rest of the day went by really fast. After school I had a band practice with my friend Eddie. We worked on our recital song because it is on Sunday. We did really well. We went for three hours, and by that time my throat was so soar. I ended up waking up with a sore throat. It was pretty bad. Anyways, I should go. See yah next time!

My Past Few Days: Why I Haven't Been Blogging.
Hello again everybody! The reason I haven't been blogging was because I have been at my grandparents house since now. They didn't have Internet there, therefore I had no way of posting what was happening in my life. My Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was all work. I worked for my grandpa. Splitting wood, mushroom hunting, planting flowers, packing for the BWCA trip, setting up tents, gardening and watering flowers, crafting things, an lots of other stuff too. When I got back on Monday, it was too late to do anything do I went straight to bed. Yesterday was really fun. We played games in music, language arts is always fun, we worked on journals in social studies, we worked on homework in advisory, then we did microscopes in science. Me an some friends skipped math because we had the student council party. We got to make our own cupcakes, drink cool-aid, and hang out with friends. It was really fun. Then I went home and worked on my guitar piece for the recital. It's on Sunday! Now I'm here. Today is field day and I'm psyched. That's all for today, folks! See yah!

Thursday! Basketball!
So today wasn't very interesting. After school I had Ultimate Frisbee. We played a lot of scrimmages. Then Becca asked me to come over and play some ball. I easily obliged. It was a blast! We played one on one and talked about stuff at school, especially this stupid basketball tournament. It's so annoying. Anyways, my day was pretty good. I guess I better go. Signing off!
My Past Few Days.
Hello again everybody! The reason I haven't been blogging for the past few days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) is because, well, nothing really happened. Monday was just slow, Tuesday came with rain, and lots of it (therefore my Ultimate practice was cancelled). My Wednesday was kind of interesting... And stressful. I had to sell pizza and sodas for the dance during lunch, where I found out that the student council party was apparently, today. And I didn't finish the certificates! It was so crazy! I spent all of Advisory making them, only to find out in Science that it was cancelled. I was really mad. But Science was still fun, because we were making posters of the characteristics of life. I have to admit, ours was pretty awesome. Anyways, I walked/biked home with Sonia and Olivia, then went to the park to play with Misha and Anja. Not much later, the one and only Becca came over and we played some hoops. We continuously joked about how we need a voice recording system to record everything we talk about in one day. It's crazy! Anyways, I can't mention enough how awesome Becca is to play ball with. She challenges my everyday to become a better player and it's just so awesome! Anyways, I should go now. Signing off!

Sunday: Trampoline part 2 and Festivals!
So yesterday was the Linden Hills festival. It was really fun. I Ate mini-donuts, played with friends, walked around, and mainly played frisbee. When I went home, my sister's friend came over and we all bounced on the trampoline. Then Tommy came per and we all bounced crazily. My sister wanted to work on flips so we did that for a while. Then we had dinner and ate a popsicle. By that time, it was 7:30, and Tommy had to go. I stayed up a little later to watch the Wonder Years, then went to bed. That was my very exciting Sunday. See yah!
Saturday. Trampoline.
Yesterday was Saturday. I didn't do much. Quite frankly, I can't really remember what I did. I know I bounced on the trampoline for a long time. Then I went to my Ultimate Frisbee games (we won one lost one). They were still really fun though! Then I went home and chilled out until Tommy came over. We bounced on the trampoline pretty much all night (with the exception of taking chip and guacamole breaks)! It was really fun. By the time he had to go home, I was exhausted. I went straight to bed. That was pretty much how it went! See yah!
Friday: Dance Competition!
So Friday was 80's day! I dressed up in long, tucked in socks, a Magic Johnson jersey, and my pockets sticking out. It was really fun. The day went by in a second! Next thing I knew, I was sitting on the gym floor, waiting for the 10th annual Lake Harriet Dance Competition. It was really fun. Everyone was watching and all the teams were super good! They all deserved to win. Yet on the end, this team with some cheetah pants and white shirts won it all.
After school, I went to my friends house for a potluck. It was really fun. We had water and nerf gun wars. At the very end, everyone teamed up against me and drenched me with there most powerful weapons. Then I got sprayed with a full watering can three times before they got in trouble. It was time to go anyways so I didn't really care. We then picked up my sister from her friends house, went home, watched some DWTS, and went to bed. That was my Friday. See yah!

Cold, Cold, Cold
Yesterday was really cold. I had Ultimate Frisbee after school and I ended up borrowing someones sweatshirt until we got our jerseys. They were pretty cool, I have to say. One side is black with a white circle and a black dragon inside, while the other is white with a green dragon. We played a scrimmage, and we called the people in the black jerseys yang and the people in the white jerseys ying. It was super funny. I started walking home, and saw Becca playing at the park. I hung out and played with her for a while. It's really fun playing with her. We talk about so much and she loves to just listen and so do I. Anyways, we played for along time, and before we knew it, it was was 7:45! We had to go our separate ways, yet we knew we would meet again tomorrow, hopefully in some jazzy 80's day stuff! I might wear my Magic Johnson jersey! Who knows! Anyways, I should go. See yah!

Dance Class!
Today was normal. We had gym class and we had to dance. It's one of my favorite units. It seems so easy to me. That was really the only interesting part of the day for me. The rest was pretty boring. Right now I'm watching a movie. It's really weird. Anyways, I really should go. See yah!

Musical Tuesday!
So today was super fun. I had a really fun music class. We had to perform our original compositions. August, Luke, and I played our song Rhyme and got to listen to all the other ones too. It was really fun. After school I had guitar lessons. We worked on our recital songs. Then I bounced on the trampoline for a while, did some homework, and now I'm just chilling. That was my Tuesday!!! Yeah! I got to go. See yah!

My Monday: Art Class
My Monday wasn't very interesting. I'm guessing you don't want to hear about it either so I'll make it quick. I woke up, ate breakfast, went to school, had art class, went to the park and saw that nobody was there, went home, ate dinner, did homework, and here I am. I have to say, art class was probably my favorite part of the day. We got to work on our pots and talk with each other. It was okay. I suppose I should also mention Streit's Class, because he'll be the one reading this anyways. We worked on lots of stuff. It was pretty fun but it was right in the morning so I was kind of tired. Now I'm just chilling, waiting to go to bed. See yah!
My Weekend: Trampolines!!!
My weekend was very fun. It started on Saturday, when we went shopping for trampolines. We got a 14" with a basketball hoop inside. It's super cool. Then I went to my Ultimate game. We won our first game 10-5. I scored one point. The next one we lost 7-4, I didn't do so well that time. Yet at the same time, it was still very fun. Then we went home and chilled out. My sister had already left for a sleepover so it was just my parents and I. We watched a movie, then went straight to bed.
My Sunday started off at 7:30, when my family and I went to Zumbro for some Mothers Day breakfast. I had some French toast. It was extremely tasty. My parents had some vegetarian eggs Benedict. That looked yummy as well! Then we went home and began to set up the trampoline. We worked until 12:00, then it was time to go to a party with my mom's side of the family. It was really fun. We played lawn games and ate tacos and had backwash competitions (where you have a straw and try to suck up all the water in one glass and put into the other one before the other person does it first). Then we went home and continued to work on our trampoline. We finished it at 7:30, and we got to bounce for a little while before heading in to fall asleep.
So that was my weekend for you. I have to go. See yah!

Biking :)
Today was National Bike or Walk to School Day. I ended up needing to bike because I had jazz band in the morning. We went through our songs then started a new one. Happy! Yes by Pharell Williams. It is really fun. I might be doing a solo in it too. Anyways, y day went terribly slowly. But then, I biked home with the Murphy's. We played some basketball. It was really fun. Then I went home and just hung out. I saw some episodes of S.H.I.E.L.D, and just chilled. That's where I am now. I guess I'll see you later. See yah!
Ultimate Frisbee, Clippers Games, Basketball, and Music
As you can probably tell from my title, I've had a pretty busy week. It started out on Monday afternoon, where I had to go to Ultimate Frisbee practice for the Lake Harriet school team. It was really fun. We worked on cuts, deep throws, and played some scrimmages too! During the scrimmage, me and my friends were acting like hippies, throwing piece signs at everyone, saying the craziest things, coming up with weird handshakes, and much, much more. I know I already said this but it was really fun. He said we're supposed to get our jerseys on Thursday. That's tomorrow! Anyways, after that was the Clippers game. They were playing the Oklahoma City Thunder. Although I like the both the teams, I definitely like the Clippers better. I watched some of the game, and you wouldn't believe who won. THE CLIPPERS!!! I was so happy. My man Chris Paul -CP3- scored 32 points, 10 assists, and a new career high of 8 3-pointers! The Clippers won 122-105. It was a total blowout. After that, we started watching a movie about J.K Rowling. It was really good and awfully hard to pause for the night. But, we had to at some point, so we stopped around ten'o'clock. Then my face hit the pillow, and I was out. Overall, my Monday went very well. Now, Lets talk about my very busy day we humans call Tuesday...
My Tuesday was fairly normal as well. The school day took forever. When it was finally time to go, I decided to go walk home with some of my good friends (Alana, Becca, Ellie, Mitra, and some other peoples along the way). Becca, Ellie, Alana, and I played some basketball. At first it was Alana and I vs. Becca and Ellie, and they creamed us. Then Becca and I played on a team against Ellie and Alana. Since we had both played real ball before, we made some plays involving alley-oops and drives. We made plays called Checkerboard, Dart, Boogie-Board, Flip-Flop, and lots of other ones too. We beat them like 10 to 5 or something like that. I can't remember. Then I went home to chill out before having to walk to guitar practice. Yet time flew by, and soon enough, I was at guitar, playing some guns'n'roses song (Welcome to the Jungle). We talked about pickups and double guitars as well. Then I went home. After a little while, we finished the J.K Rowling Movie. It was so good. Then I went to bed. See yah!

My Weekend! Racing and Movies
My Saturday started simple. I woke up at 6:00 and ate breakfast. Then I went off to Ann Sullivan school to have a co2 car tournament. I didn't win, but I did win in a group project where we try and make a gravity powered car go as far as possible in ten seconds. I was in Becca and Isabella's group. It was really fun. Then the Murphy family offered to drive me home. I quickly agreed. We went to this global market and ate some Mexican food. I had a really tasty burrito. Then, they dropped me off at home so I could chill out a little bit before my Ultimate Frisbee game against Edina. When it finally came time, I biked over there. In the end we lost, but it was still fun. Then I went home, learned some magic tricks, layer down, and watched two movies. They were called "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and "The Nanny Diaries." They were both really funny and enjoyable. Finally around ten'o'clock, we went to sleep.
My Sunday started a little less entertaining. I woke up, waited for pancakes to be ready, learned a magic trick or two in the meantime, then ate them. They were very yummy and surely satisfied my daily hunger pains. Then, once Misha woke up, I vacuumed the house, then went to play some basketball. I played for a couple hours, then went home and ate lunch. I ate carrots and hummus. Yay. Then I went to play more basketball, and what do you know, my friend was there, we played together until she had to go, and I decided to play a little longer. Some seventh graders "borrowed" my ball and took the court I was using, so when they finally gave it back, I vegan shooting at a new hoop. It wasn't even 30 minutes later that some men, about 20 years old, kicked me off to play full court. I hastily agreed, unrevealing my anger. What does three courts total minus two being use by some old people and one being used by some seventh graders? Zero courts for Cole. I admit, I was mad. I walked home and saw my sister, her friend, and my sister's friend's brother playing outside. I decided I would play. It's better then nothing, I guess. They were playing this weird version of the hunger games, where there were teams and bombs and other stuff. I played for a couple hours then quit because of a slowly increasing stomach pain. I then went home to learn some more magic tricks, ate dinner, and watched a movie called "Galaxy Quest" while doing some homework. So yeah, that was my weekend, now it's a Monday and I'm editing my paper before I publish it. I have to go. See yah!

Friday! Math Class¡
So I had an intense day today. It started with me accidentally walking into my dads room and waking him up as well as the dogs. I dashed out and hastily careened down the stairs. I ate breakfast, finished my math homework, edited yesterday's blog, and got ready for school. The day went by pretty quickly, and soon it was time for math. Aghhhh. It started out with a warm-up. Then went to correcting math homework. Then it escalated to a math test! Ayyyyeeeee!!! It was pretty easy though, at least I hoped so.
Then I endured two hours of co2 car racing. I raced Alana twice and won. Haha, in yo face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding, it was really close. Anyways, now I'm watching a movie called Ride Along, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. It's a good movie so far. I gotta go finish it now. See yah!
Viva City, Dessa, Talent Shows, and More!
So, uhhh, hehe. My past few days have been pretty hectic! It started on Tuesday with the Viva City concert number two. Dessa was there before the show so we got her autograph. She signed my short and my album of her! It was so cool! We then sang our songs and went home to sleep! Ahhh yes, sleeping. The best part of the day!
My Wednesday was pretty casual. I went to school (yay!) played some games in advisory, went home, did some homework, and again, went to SLEEP!!! Just a casual Wednesday.
Today went a little like this. I woke up, feeling mildly unsatisfied with my short period of sleep, yet somehow hastily got out of bed, brushed teeth, and threw on some clothes that looked good in pitch blackness. Then I stumbled downstairs -literally- and sat down for some grub -also very literal-. I ate my egg sandwich, turned on my computer, and pulled up my essay on Microsoft Word. I went downstairs to print, then tripped going up the stairs. I then finished my MCA test packet and got ready for school. I walked to the bus with my sister, then hung out with Lola for the five minutes we were on the bus. School flew by speedily, and before I knew it, I was at my guitar practice, playing with Brad. After that I put the wheels on my co2 cars for guys, then hit the talent show. Everyone was really good. I had first half curtain duty. Then I played Johnny B Goode. I love it. So that's my day. See yah!

Viva City!
So last night I had an intense Viva City practice and concert. We practiced for like 4 hours straight and then had dinner. It was crazy! My voice was so scratchy by the time we were done! Then, as we waited, the people began to flood in. It was a huge turnout!!! So many people came to see the show that all the chairs were almost full! Then, the show began. It started out with a opening orchestral piece, then we stood up to sing. We sang We Shall Not Give Up The Fight then did our solo boys and girls songs, Give us Hope and Seize the day. Then we sat down for another orchestral piece. After that we listened to the high schoolers do two songs, we all sat down and let Dessa sing a couple song and man was she good! Everyone was blown away! The. We sang the world premier of her new song Controlled Burn. It sounded really well. Then we finished with Dry Your Tears Afrika. It was a very beautiful song. Then, we went home and I drank/ate some soup because I was starving. It tasted better than the school lunch, that's for sure! Finally, I did a little homework, and went to bed. Now I am waking up early because I have to do some more homework!!! Ahhhhhhhh I guess I better go. See yah!

My Past Few Days: From Carnivals to Scaring People!
So the past few days were pretty rough. I wasn't aloud to go on my computer because of the massive amount of homework I had. I was only aloud to go on my computer after I finished my homework, which ended up being at 7;25 on a Monday morning. So here I go, attempt to tell you the crazies of my past few days.
My Friday started slow, with nothing but STEM, Language Arts, and Social Studies. But after that, things began to speed up. Before I knew it, the day was over and I was heading to Jacks house for GISE. I ended up cutting my car and sanding down. I'm hoping to spray paint it in the next week or so. We played a little basketball, played some pig, then left for the carnival. By 5:35, the place was already packed. Tommy and I had to watch over his little brother, Evan, to make sure he didn't get lost. We started off by buying or tickets then grabbing some pizza and a soda. Then, the real fun began. We raced through the hallways, going to every game in sight. We even did the doughnut game, where you try and see who can eat the doughnut the fastest. This little girl right next to me ended up winning. the last place we went to was the junk food walk, where Tommy and I won a huge bag of cheesy popcorn and a large bag of Sun Chips. All in all, it was a great day!
The next day was the longest, and surely the best, day of my life. It started out waking up to the sweet smell of blueberry pancakes. Then I cleaned the house, did my chores, and relaxed a little bit before going to my Ultimate Frisbee game. After just laying on my bed, it was time to go to Ultimate Frisbee. My sister's friend tagged along. The first game was against Valley View, and it was terrible. The second was against Barton, and our team played really well. I contributed to five points, three were thrown, two by catching it myself. We beat them 11-5. After that, we went home to talk about a sleepover. My sister's friend was allowed to, so it turned out being a long night. We saw the Nut Job, ate some popcorn, and slept. It was a pretty good day, if I do say so myself.
My Sunday was uneventful. It was rainy, with nothing to do. My sister's friend, my sister, and I all played a game called hide and be scared, where someone hides and when the seeker finds you, you pop out and scare them. It was really fun. Then my sister's friend had to leave, so I did some homework, watched the Clippers game with Becca, then went to bed. Still raining. See yah!

Mantis Shrimps?
So today was Thursday, and it wasn't extremely exciting. I took the bus to school, and it was raining. My hair was really wet when we ended up getting to school. Anyways, I took my MCA math test in the morning and then played a little bit in choir. We mostly studied for our site reports in Social Studies, and Vilas and I worked together to do the State Capitol. In advisory we studied our vocabulary for science. Then in science we practiced for a tornado drill, then learned about Mantis Shrimp. They're super cool. They are super pretty, and also extremely deadly. If you want to learn more check out the sight called, why I love Mantis Shrimp. It's really interesting and funny. After that, we saw a band concert where they played a few pieces. Some of my friends were in it and it was fun to watch them toot the flute and bang the- never mind. Then I went home. I skipped frisbee practice because it was really sloppy out. So here I am again, about to eat dinner. I have to go now. See yah!

April 22nd: Guitar Practice
Today I had guitar practice with my teacher. We worked on my songs and talked about the talent show. I have decided to play Johnny B. Goode. Even though I have played it before, it is a real croud pleaser and an easy one to play for fun. So yeah, that was the low down of my guitar practice. My day was not very interesting. I have Viva City practice tomorrow, so I guess I will see what happens. I am going to go play some basketball. See yah!
Basketball With Becca
So today I had to bike school today because I had Viva City. I sing tenor and it's really fun. Anyways, Becca and I played basketball. It's really nice to just hang out and talk. We played one-on-one and some other games too. We usually hang out on Wednesdays so today was just a normal day in the life of me. By the way, go check out her blog. I believe it's rmur2001. So, yeah, sorry this blogs so short, my day was kind of boring. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

Art Tests, Ultimate Frisbee, And More!
Today I was back to school, again, whats new, NOTHING OF COURSE!!! Anyways, my class had an art test in art class (duh). Everyone was stressed about it and quite frankly, so was I. Yet when I took it, I felt strangely comfortable. I felt like I knew the answers. Probably not all of them, of course, but hopefully most of them!
I also had Ultimate Frisbee practice today. I had a lot of layouts (where you dive for the disc). That resulted in lots of mud splashes and dirty clothes. I immediately changed into my pajamas when I got home, mainly because they were comfier, oh and I guess a little bit cleaner too. Anyways, now I'm at home, blogging. I really want to play some basketball with my neighbors. So, yeah, I guess I better go. See yah!

Grudge Match Movie Night!
This night was movie night. We saw 'Grudge Match'. It was really funny to watch. It was about these two old guys who have this largely anticipated boxing match that has been rivaling for 30 years. It stars Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, and Kevin Hart. We just finished it so I thought I'd tell you about it.
I had GISE earlier today. We designed our Co2 cars and started to cut them out we also ate pizza and drank LOTS of Coca-cola and Sprite. It was very tasty!!!! Anyways, that was my Friday for you. Now I'm going to start my favorite activity of the day. SLEEP!!!! See yah!

My Thursday
Nothing interesting today folks! Yesterday was uneventful, and boring. Ultimate frisbee was cancelled because of the weather. I wasn't so happy after that. My father and I are working on a composition project. Yeah, I'm really bored right now. It's 8:00 at night right now folks! Oh, and before I forget, ignore the dates it thinks I've posted it on. My clock on my computer is extremely screwed up! so anyways, that's my Thursday. I feel like I'm boring a hole through your bran right now so I'm going to stop to save your precious noggin from ultimate boredom. See yah!

More snow?
It was snowing earlier today, and it still is! Why does it have to snow in the middle of Spring? It doesn't make sense! I'm watching Modern Family right now. My dads on the phone. My sister is playing a game. My mom is doing schoolwork. My day was fine. Sometimes I question why I blog. Nobody reads this. I had seven views on my last post, minus the seven times I edited it which makes zero. I feel weird telling no one about how I feel weird blogging to no one. Wow, that was weird. Anyways, I should probably rap this up. I don't have much to blog about so I'll stop soon. I really want to play basketball. It's Wednesday! I feel awesome! Life is amazing! Wow, that was weird. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

Musica! Cont.
So today I had music class, and August and I continued to work on our new song. We made a lot of progress before having to go. We figured out a new verse and a new way to play the intro. We had a real good time.
After school I had guitar lessons with my guitar teacher. We began to work on a new song called You've or a friend in me. We also began to continue the song we've been working on for a while called Welcome to the jungle. It's a really cool song with many interesting and unique parts.
So anyways, that was my incredible feat of music for the day. See yah!

Lunar Eclipse!
I'm currently outside watching the lunar eclipse happen in front of me! It's beautiful! It's 2:00 in the morning, and I'm really starting beginning it was worth waking up for! The moon is starting to turn into this big orange dot! You can see some other planets around the moon. I wonder what they are? I'm debating whether this is the best idea to do at 2:00 on a school night or not. My dogs are yawning every five seconds (and although I hate to admit it, so am I)! It's pitch black outside.
I don't know what to say. My whole family has their faces pressed against the glass watching it unfold. So yeah, it's really turning red now. It's hard to see but very cool nonetheless. I think I might go back to bed. I'm really tired. *yawns intensely. Even thinking about it makes me yawn. I'm going to go now. See yaaaaahhhhhhaaaaawwwwwnnnn (that was me saying see yah as it turned into a yawn) anyways, see yah!

Musica!
I'm really excited for some upcoming musical projects I have been working on! I'm going to try and make a small band to play Under the Sea! I'm really excited to try it out! It's a really different song and it will be interesting to attempt to sing it! I'm also going to try and perform the song You Got a Friend in Me!
Today was very slow. I have a lot of homework and not a lot of time to do it. I'm actually really worried about getting it all done. Agh.
After school I had my first ultimate frisbee practice with the Lake Harriet Disc Dragons. We have a lot of good players. Sorry this blog post is so short, theres nothing very interesting to blog about. Ohhhhhhhh and I'm waking up at 2:00 A.M to see the lunar eclipse! I'll talk to you then to tell you how it goes! Until then, see yah!

Basketball!
These past few days have been very busy the past few days, mainly because of my favorite sport... BASKETBALL!!! I love playing, watching, and any other verb-ending-in-ing you can think of! I played everyday from Friday through Sunday! It's so fun!
Friday was a fairly average school day. We took a spelling test in Language Arts. I think I did well? Stem and Social Studies weren't very interesting, although we did watch a movie about the history of the world. Advisory was uneventful. During he first half, I helped grade math homework, then at the second half, we graded our own homework! Science and math flew by and then it was time to walk home! I went with Becca, Alana, Cozette, and Sonia. We played basketball for a while, then went home.
Saturday was very slow. It was kind of like a cool down day after the long school week. I played a little bit of basketball, read some books after going to the library, then we watched a movie with my friends Becca and Alana. It was called Delivery Man. It was a weird movie about a man who turned out to be a biological father of 533 children. It was really weird.
Today was busy. I cleaned my room and did all my other chores, then went to bounce on my neighbor's trampoline. It was really fun and was my main source of exercise for the day. Then I went to play basketball, with Becca. We played a game with some kids then left.
So yeah, that was my past few days for you. I guess I should probably rap this up. See yah!

Misspelling: The Squiggle :(
I had jazz band yesterday, which was the reason why I couldn't blog. Yesterday wasn't very eventful, except for MORE HOMEWORK! Aghhhhhhh. For some reason I hate it when teachers assign homework half-way through the week. It's like saying, "You've been doing very great at getting all your homework done right away, here's some more! Due on Friday!". Aghhhhhhh.
I don't have a problem when you type a word and it puts the red squiggly line under it, but I HATE it when I type that same word in fifty-gazillion times and it still puts it there, after every single one! so I tell my phone, "Alright, I get it, you want to be helpful, but seriously, when I type a word that isn't real over fifty times, what word do you think I'm trying to spell? Oh, I know, maybe it's the one I just typed fifty times and your still saying is incorrect! GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!". And then Siri tries to get into the situation.
Siri: "Is there anything I can help you with?"
Me: "SHUT UP!!!".
Siri: "I'm sorry, I didn't get that. Please try again."
And that's when it gets nasty. I'll spare you the details. Anyways, it usually ends with me cooling off and ending up deleting the fifty-thousand aghhhhhhhs I typed into the text.
So yeah, that's my rant about how annoying misspelled words are. If you liked it, please comment, if you didn't, still comment. See yah! By the way, all these quotes are created by yours truly unless mentioned as otherwise.
"The idea of having an IPhone is preposterous! I mean, we use it all day, sucking up its time and battery, and for what? Texting your friends, updating your feed, posting some strange comment on someones photo that people spend their whole day questioning, and then what? We turn them off, as if none of that had ever happened. What if that happened to us in real life? Think about it."

April 8th: MCA testing (dun dun dun)!!!
So today was my second day back. I ended up missing my MCA test last week so I had to make it up today. It was the reading one where you read a passage and answer a rough ten questions in order to finish it. It was 74 questions long (I'm not quite sure how I remembered that), and a big, fat, pain. I wore my fedora today, although nobody cared. So, yeah. Today wasn't very interesting. Tomorrow will be weird, interesting, and packed full of happiness and unicorns (hopefully). I hope to be blogging twice a day soon, I might start on Thursday. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

April 7th: Back To School!
Today was my first day back at school in two weeks! I had to check in with all of the teachers and turn in late work I missed from being gone the week before spring break. California was awesome by the way. you can view my blogs from that time, after you read this one. Striet's class went by in a flash, yet art class went slower. Apparently Mr. Palm has a new nickname for me. Coleyoleyol? Really? Anyways, Ms. Krawetz's Social Studies went by slower than a sloth. Advisory was fun. We changed spots and I got to sit next to Hale and Cal. Sigrid is also at my table. In Science class I turned in my binder. Finally! Math was slow and uneventful, nothing against Ms. Meyer or anything! When I got home, I went to guitar lessons and met with Brad (my guitar teacher). I'm learning these two songs called Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child Of Mine. They're by this band called Guns'n'Roses. You've probably never heard of them (you know, the one with Axl Rose and Slash, no? Okay). Anyways, I have to go now. I'm going to post a blog with multiple pictures from California and Arizona in an upcoming blog. See yah!

Life in Arizona: World Records And Conquering The Mountain
Yesterday was very eventful, so I decided to tell you a little bit about it. It all started when my grandma heard that some people were going to attempt the world record for most skydivers in formation to come out of the plane and successfully make it to the ground. It was super cool! It looked like a puff of smoke because they were so high up. They didn't beat the world record, but it was really cool to watch! I also got to meet some of the skydivers from all across the whole entire globe. 222 skydivers were apart of it and they were all from about 29 countries. I had a lot of fun there.
Then, we decided to hike a huge mountain. It was over 3,000 feet in elevation! Anyways, we brought 5 water bottles, 1 Gatorade, 3 sandwiches, a lot of granola bars, and half a bag of kettle corn. Then, we began our trek. It took us 2 hours to get to the top, but man, the view was awesome! We could even see our town 20 minutes away! It was fantastic! Then it took us an hour and a half to get back down. Technically, we only spent 2 hours hiking and the rest taking lunch breaks and water breaks. We were very proud of ourselves (my sister especially).
Overall, yesterday was pretty fun. But I'll have to stop and some point, I guess the best time is now. See yah!

Life in Arizona: Car Rides, Golf, And Family Tricks.
Last Sunday, we left from California to go to Arizona. I was kind of annoyed that we couldn't stay for a little bit longer in Palm Springs with my friends. Instead we're in Arizona City with my grandparents (not saying I have a problem with that or anything). They have a hot tub in their backyard, and its really nice. I don't know if it's just me, or if everything here is really dusty. Ever since I've been here, I've been sneezing like I've been smelling pepper 24/7. It's really annoying.
My grandparents play golf a lot, and when people play golf a lot, they need to move a lot, and so they have a golf cart. It's really fun to drive in. As long as there's an adult watching you, you can pretty much go anywhere in Arizona city! It's super fun to take frequent trips around town and to go to the golf course. I love golfing. It's a lot of work to play a full 18 holes but I really like it.
My last exciting news of the day is that's dad taught me the coolest magic trick. I can't tell anybody because whats a cool magic trick if everybody knows it? Anyways, sorry I haven't gotten to blog for a while, it's been quite a few long days. I guess I better go. See yah!

Life in Palm Springs: "Hot Pools" and Card Tricks.
Yesterday was very low-key. We didn't leave the house much until dinner time, but I'm not going to tell you about that right away. First, I'm going to give you a run-through of the day.
I woke up around 6:00, and after blogging about the day before that, I got up and had breakfast. I had an eg sandwich and a cinnamon bun (it was technically two cinnamon buns but I was really hungry so I ate them both). We drank water and hung out for a majority of the time.
Then Tommy and I plugged in my iPod to a speaker system and began playing music while doing homework. By the time we decided to take a break, we had finished all of our math. We stopped because we were jealous of our siblings playing on the pool.
It wasn't much later that we joined them. The water was extremely hot, and it was hard to swim without having to cool off. We played a game where we would try to tip somebody on the raft and have them fall into the sizzling hot water. It was really fun. Nobody was really willing to go into the hot tub it was so hot! We called the pool the hot pool as if to warn people of it's heat.
After getting out and drying of, I made Tommy and I an Iced Chai Latte with ice. It was really good. We drank the majority of it while playing cards. We played go fish, crazy eights, and jin rummy. Yet soon we got bored, and after playing a couple rounds of jin, we started to learn magic card tricks. We learned four of them before having to go out for dinner.
We left a little earlier for downtown then usual to go to some other stores. We went to some clothes stores, some art stores, and looked at a few of the restaurant's menus while we were up and about. We decided on a place that I don't know how to spell or pronounce (I think it's a Spanish name, for those of you who know any Spanish). The majority of the group, me included, got the pesto pasta. It was really good. My dad got salmon and my friend Tommy's little brother Evan had buttered noodles. On our way home we stopped by a car store and I got some cool pictures for my bulletin board back at home. We also stopped by Ben And Jerry's, and we knew we had to go there. I got the Cherry Garcia and the Scotchy Scotch Scotch made by Ron Burgundy himself (there goes my Anchorman reference). Then, we decided to walk home.
It wasn't until we were half way home that Evans mom, Tanya, had realized that Evan had forgot his sweatshirt at Ben And Jerry's. the dads walked back to get it while the others walked home. I don't get how mothers know all these things. Have you ever noticed that when you ask her where something is, there's a 99% chance that she'll find it on her first try on what took you a trillion. It's like they have some sort of superwoman. Women, this is your shout out for being awesome :).
When we got home, someone offered to go into the hot pool, but we said no, because we were way to tired to do anything except brush our teeth, change into some pajamas, and go to bed.
Now I've woken up, and am blogging about yesterday's hot pools and card tricks. But I'll have to stop at some point, and I feel like the time is now. So, I guess I'm done now. See yah!

Life in Palm Springs: Beating The Heat And Fighting The Cold
I'm missing all my friends back home. Becca, Alana, Haley, Vilas, Sonia, And so many others too! I wish they could come and hang out with us on the opposite side of the American border (or California for those of you who don't have a map nearby). But they can't. Sonia might come for spring break but I'm leaving for Arizona at the same time!
Yesterday was extremely eventful and tiring. We went to this HUGE place called Joshua Tree National Park. There is a huge area you can go to and climb all over. There's really cool rock structures and history to learn about. The name comes from a tree called the Joshua tree, a really cool tree with palm tree styled bark, curved branches spreading out everywhere, and big bristles at the end of each branch. It was really, really cool. Then we went home and chilled for an hour because the biggest part of our day was still to come.
It was at 6:30 that we all went downtown to see the street fair. It was big, and by big, I. Mean. BIG. It ranged about three blocks wide and two blocks long. There was so many things to see, but my most favorite of all was the soap stand. They had so many soaps that you had to smell coffee beans to get the smell out of your nose so that you can smell the next one nice and fresh. Tommy and I really wanted some, and we found a deal where we could by four and get one free. We decided on blackberry, grapefruit, orange lemon, coconut lime, and a smell called Palm Springs, which is kind of like spearmint and sandalwood mixed. We thought we could split each one in half so we could both have the same amount. We would split the cost as well. The best part was when we bought them, the lady said to cut them in half because they last longer that way. Tommy and I looked at each other in a way that said, "way ahead of you". I almost doubled over laughing. Then the whole way home we tried to sing songs while yawning and see who could burp the largest. It was a very fun night.
I have to go because everyone's waiting for me to get up. See yah!

Life in Palm Springs: Dirt, Dust, and Dangerous Flying Objects.
Yesterday was extremely windy. It was nearly impossible to see through the dirt and dust particles in the air. Yet Tommy, Evan, Misha, and I were very hopeful, because we wanted to go swimming! I should probably mention that Tommy is my best friend, Evan is his little brother, and Misha is my sister. Anyways, when the wind died down, we went to work cleaning the pool. We then changed and dived in. Every once in while, the parents would wade in, and we'd play Marco Polo. It was really fun.
After we got out and dried off, we ate lunch. Now that I think about it, I can't remember what I had! Ah yes, I remember now. I had leftover Mexican food! Everyone else had macaroni and cheese. I was kind of jealous of them.
Once we finished up cleaning our plates, we all felt extremely tired so we sat down to watch a movie. We decided on this movie called, "Dennis The Menace". It is about this boy who gets in trouble with his neighbors so much to the point that he runs away with a thief that constantly attempts to keep him hostage but the boy always accidentally outsmarts him. I had never seen it before so I figured I'd give it a shot. It was a really good movie. Once it had ended, it was around 3:00. Dinner was catching up on us faster than a cheetah stalking its prey. We passed the time by showing each other card tricks.
By the time everyone was home, it was time to head downtown for some dinner. We walked down to Indian Canyon Ave, as usual, then walked around until we found a restaurant that interested us. We came across a place called Lulu's diner, so we tried it. Tommy, Evan, and I had some pepperoni pizza and Misha had some penne pasta. We all enjoyed it. Then as we were leaving, I took a chocolate mint. I have officially concluded that chocolate mints are ubiquitous in Palm Springs (aren't you proud of me Mr. Striet)! Anyways, we began walking home.
As we walked home, we came across some people making out in the middle of the sidewalk but hey, it's California, get used to it. We came across a gift store, and decided to go inside to look around. We walked over to a penny presser, and I put some money in and got a cool golfer on my penny. We then walked over to see a bunch of fedoras. We started trying them on like crazy, whether we wanted them or not. This is Tommy and I trying on one of our many fedoras.
Eventually, I actually got one, and we left.
We then walked by a couple shirt stores and peeked inside. Nobody really got anything. We then kept walking, past the Ferraris, past the star crossed lovers in the middle of the sidewalk, and past all the stores to our lovely home. We then immediately went to bed, for it was very late. So here I am, at 7:20 in the morning, blogging about yesterday's activities. Until next time? Until next time. See yah!

Life in Palm Springs: Marilyn or Mountains?
Life's been good in California. We have a swimming pool in our backyard and a tennis court back there too. I've only been here for two full days, and I'm planning on staying here for a week before my family and I head back to Arizona. We went with my friend Tommy and his family. We have already walked downtown, and we've already begun to like it. Two blocks from our house is Indian Canyon Ave. where all the small shops and tourist sites are. There's a huge statue of Marilyn Monroe right next to the mountainside. I'm still not sure which one is taller, Marilyn or the mountains.
We went to the "Living Desert Zoo" and quite frankly, I'm still wondering what the alternative is? The "dead zoo"? I have no idea. We also walked through a hot water oasis, called Agua Caliente (which means "water hot" for those of you non-Spanish speakers). It was really cool. We saw a western king snake, and it was quite funny to see the ladies' reaction :). For the rest of the trip, the boys kept shaking branches and rustling leaves in hopes of scaring them. It was extremely funny.
I'd also like to mention the sweet restaurants they have there. We went to have Mexican twice, and also ate from this place called Sherman's, which is this awesome deli that has the fluffiest French toast in all of Northern America. The were so yummy!!!
It's 6:58 right now, and I have to post this before anyone wakes up. I'd just like to say that life is sweet in California, and so are the palm trees. Uh oh, I hear Tommy waking up, I better post this quick, see yah!
