Viva City!

So last night I had an intense Viva City practice and concert. We practiced for like 4 hours straight and then had dinner. It was crazy! My voice was so scratchy by the time we were done! Then, as we waited, the people began to flood in. It was a huge turnout!!! So many people came to see the show that all the chairs were almost full! Then, the show began. It started out with a opening orchestral piece, then we stood up to sing. We sang We Shall Not Give Up The Fight then did our solo boys and girls songs, Give us Hope and Seize the day. Then we sat down for another orchestral piece. After that we listened to the high schoolers do two songs, we all sat down and let Dessa sing a couple song and man was she good! Everyone was blown away! The. We sang the world premier of her new song Controlled Burn. It sounded really well. Then we finished with Dry Your Tears Afrika. It was a very beautiful song. Then, we went home and I drank/ate some soup because I was starving. It tasted better than the school lunch, that's for sure! Finally, I did a little homework, and went to bed. Now I am waking up early because I have to do some more homework!!! Ahhhhhhhh I guess I better go. See yah!

My Past Few Days: From Carnivals to Scaring People!

So the past few days were pretty rough. I wasn't aloud to go on my computer because of the massive amount of homework I had. I was only aloud to go on my computer after I finished my homework, which ended up being at 7;25 on a Monday morning. So here I go, attempt to tell you the crazies of my past few days.
My Friday started slow, with nothing but STEM, Language Arts, and Social Studies. But after that, things began to speed up. Before I knew it, the day was over and I was heading to Jacks house for GISE. I ended up cutting my car and sanding down. I'm hoping to spray paint it in the next week or so. We played a little basketball, played some pig, then left for the carnival. By 5:35, the place was already packed. Tommy and I had to watch over his little brother, Evan, to make sure he didn't get lost. We started off by buying or tickets then grabbing some pizza and a soda. Then, the real fun began. We raced through the hallways, going to every game in sight. We even did the doughnut game, where you try and see who can eat the doughnut the fastest. This little girl right next to me ended up winning. the last place we went to was the junk food walk, where Tommy and I won a huge bag of cheesy popcorn and a large bag of Sun Chips. All in all, it was a great day!
The next day was the longest, and surely the best, day of my life. It started out waking up to the sweet smell of blueberry pancakes. Then I cleaned the house, did my chores, and relaxed a little bit before going to my Ultimate Frisbee game. After just laying on my bed, it was time to go to Ultimate Frisbee. My sister's friend tagged along. The first game was against Valley View, and it was terrible. The second was against Barton, and our team played really well. I contributed to five points, three were thrown, two by catching it myself. We beat them 11-5. After that, we went home to talk about a sleepover. My sister's friend was allowed to, so it turned out being a long night. We saw the Nut Job, ate some popcorn, and slept. It was a pretty good day, if I do say so myself.
My Sunday was uneventful. It was rainy, with nothing to do. My sister's friend, my sister, and I all played a game called hide and be scared, where someone hides and when the seeker finds you, you pop out and scare them. It was really fun. Then my sister's friend had to leave, so I did some homework, watched the Clippers game with Becca, then went to bed. Still raining. See yah!

Mantis Shrimps?

So today was Thursday, and it wasn't extremely exciting. I took the bus to school, and it was raining. My hair was really wet when we ended up getting to school. Anyways, I took my MCA math test in the morning and then played a little bit in choir. We mostly studied for our site reports in Social Studies, and Vilas and I worked together to do the State Capitol. In advisory we studied our vocabulary for science. Then in science we practiced for a tornado drill, then learned about Mantis Shrimp. They're super cool. They are super pretty, and also extremely deadly. If you want to learn more check out the sight called, why I love Mantis Shrimp. It's really interesting and funny. After that, we saw a band concert where they played a few pieces. Some of my friends were in it and it was fun to watch them toot the flute and bang the- never mind. Then I went home. I skipped frisbee practice because it was really sloppy out. So here I am again, about to eat dinner. I have to go now. See yah!

April 22nd: Guitar Practice

Today I had guitar practice with my teacher. We worked on my songs and talked about the talent show. I have decided to play Johnny B. Goode. Even though I have played it before, it is a real croud pleaser and an easy one to play for fun. So yeah, that was the low down of my guitar practice. My day was not very interesting. I have Viva City practice tomorrow, so I guess I will see what happens. I am going to go play some basketball. See yah!

Basketball With Becca

So today I had to bike school today because I had Viva City. I sing tenor and it's really fun. Anyways, Becca and I played basketball. It's really nice to just hang out and talk. We played one-on-one and some other games too. We usually hang out on Wednesdays so today was just a normal day in the life of me. By the way, go check out her blog. I believe it's rmur2001. So, yeah, sorry this blogs so short, my day was kind of boring. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

Art Tests, Ultimate Frisbee, And More!

Today I was back to school, again, whats new, NOTHING OF COURSE!!! Anyways, my class had an art test in art class (duh). Everyone was stressed about it and quite frankly, so was I. Yet when I took it, I felt strangely comfortable. I felt like I knew the answers. Probably not all of them, of course, but hopefully most of them!
I also had Ultimate Frisbee practice today. I had a lot of layouts (where you dive for the disc). That resulted in lots of mud splashes and dirty clothes. I immediately changed into my pajamas when I got home, mainly because they were comfier, oh and I guess a little bit cleaner too. Anyways, now I'm at home, blogging. I really want to play some basketball with my neighbors. So, yeah, I guess I better go. See yah!

Late Night Dancing!

This night we partied and danced Gangnam Style all night. Need I say more? It was really fun. We played Monopoly and some other games too. It was extremely fun. I can't wait for tomorrow. It Easter!!! Anyways, I should go. It's really late out. See yah!

Grudge Match Movie Night!

This night was movie night. We saw 'Grudge Match'. It was really funny to watch. It was about these two old guys who have this largely anticipated boxing match that has been rivaling for 30 years. It stars Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, and Kevin Hart. We just finished it so I thought I'd tell you about it.
I had GISE earlier today. We designed our Co2 cars and started to cut them out we also ate pizza and drank LOTS of Coca-cola and Sprite. It was very tasty!!!! Anyways, that was my Friday for you. Now I'm going to start my favorite activity of the day. SLEEP!!!! See yah!

My Thursday

Nothing interesting today folks! Yesterday was uneventful, and boring. Ultimate frisbee was cancelled because of the weather. I wasn't so happy after that. My father and I are working on a composition project. Yeah, I'm really bored right now. It's 8:00 at night right now folks! Oh, and before I forget, ignore the dates it thinks I've posted it on. My clock on my computer is extremely screwed up! so anyways, that's my Thursday. I feel like I'm boring a hole through your bran right now so I'm going to stop to save your precious noggin from ultimate boredom. See yah!

More snow?

It was snowing earlier today, and it still is! Why does it have to snow in the middle of Spring? It doesn't make sense! I'm watching Modern Family right now. My dads on the phone. My sister is playing a game. My mom is doing schoolwork. My day was fine. Sometimes I question why I blog. Nobody reads this. I had seven views on my last post, minus the seven times I edited it which makes zero. I feel weird telling no one about how I feel weird blogging to no one. Wow, that was weird. Anyways, I should probably rap this up. I don't have much to blog about so I'll stop soon. I really want to play basketball. It's Wednesday! I  feel awesome! Life is amazing! Wow, that was weird. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

Musica! Cont.

So today I had music class, and August and I continued to work on our new song. We made a lot of progress before having to go. We figured out a new verse and a new way to play the intro. We had a real good time.
After school I had guitar lessons with my guitar teacher. We began to work on a new song called You've or a friend in me. We also began to continue the song we've been working on for a while called Welcome to the jungle. It's a really cool song with many interesting and unique parts.
So anyways, that was my incredible feat of music for the day. See yah!

Lunar Eclipse!

I'm currently outside watching the lunar eclipse happen in front of me! It's beautiful! It's 2:00 in the morning, and I'm really starting beginning it was worth waking up for! The moon is starting to turn into this big orange dot! You can see some other planets around the moon. I wonder what they are? I'm debating whether this is the best idea to do at 2:00 on a school night or not. My dogs are yawning every five seconds (and although I hate to admit it, so am I)! It's pitch black outside.
Sorry for the low resolution but it was the best I could get off my old tanky iPod 4th gen.

I don't know what to say. My whole family has their faces pressed against the glass watching it unfold. So yeah, it's really turning red now. It's hard to see but very cool nonetheless. I think I might go back to bed. I'm really tired. *yawns intensely. Even thinking about it makes me yawn. I'm going to go now. See yaaaaahhhhhhaaaaawwwwwnnnn (that was me saying see yah as it turned into a yawn) anyways, see yah!

Musica!

I'm really excited for some upcoming musical projects I have been working on! I'm going to try and make a small band to play Under the Sea! I'm really excited to try it out! It's a really different song and it will be interesting to attempt to sing it! I'm also going to try and perform the song You Got a Friend in Me!
Today was very slow. I have a lot of homework and not a lot of time to do it. I'm actually really worried about getting it all done. Agh.
After school I had my first ultimate frisbee practice with the Lake Harriet Disc Dragons. We have a lot of good players. Sorry this blog post is so short, theres nothing very interesting to blog about. Ohhhhhhhh and I'm waking up at 2:00 A.M to see the lunar eclipse! I'll talk to you then to tell you how it goes! Until then, see yah!

Basketball!

These past few days have been very busy the past few days, mainly because of my favorite sport... BASKETBALL!!! I love playing, watching, and any other verb-ending-in-ing you can think of! I played everyday from Friday through Sunday! It's so fun!
Friday was a fairly average school day. We took a spelling test in Language Arts. I think I did well? Stem and Social Studies weren't very interesting, although we did watch a movie about the history of the world. Advisory was uneventful. During he first half, I helped grade math homework, then at the second half, we graded our own homework! Science and math flew by and then it was time to walk home! I went with Becca, Alana, Cozette, and Sonia. We played basketball for a while, then went home.
Saturday was very slow. It was kind of like a cool down day after the long school week. I played a little bit of basketball, read some books after going to the library, then we watched a movie with my friends Becca and Alana. It was called Delivery Man. It was a weird movie about a man who turned out to be a biological father of 533 children. It was really weird.
Today was busy. I cleaned my room and did all my other chores, then went to bounce on my neighbor's trampoline. It was really fun and was my main source of exercise for the day. Then I went to play basketball, with Becca. We played a game with some kids then left.
So yeah, that was my past few days for you. I guess I should probably rap this up. See yah!

Misspelling: The Squiggle :(

I had jazz band yesterday, which was the reason why I couldn't blog. Yesterday wasn't very eventful, except for MORE HOMEWORK! Aghhhhhhh. For some reason I hate it when teachers assign homework half-way through the week. It's like saying, "You've been doing very great at getting all your homework done right away, here's some more! Due on Friday!". Aghhhhhhh.
I don't have a problem when you type a word and it puts the red squiggly line under it, but I HATE it when I type that same word in fifty-gazillion times and it still puts it there, after every single one! so I tell my phone, "Alright, I get it, you want to be helpful, but seriously, when I type a word that isn't real over fifty times, what word do you think I'm trying to spell? Oh, I know, maybe it's the one I just typed fifty times and your still saying is incorrect! GET WITH THE PROGRAM!!!". And then Siri tries to get into the situation.
Siri: "Is there anything I can help you with?"
Me: "SHUT UP!!!".
Siri: "I'm sorry, I didn't get that. Please try again."
And that's when it gets nasty. I'll spare you the details. Anyways, it usually ends with me cooling off and ending up deleting the fifty-thousand aghhhhhhhs I typed into the text.
So yeah, that's my rant about how annoying misspelled words are. If you liked it, please comment, if you didn't, still comment. See yah! By the way, all these quotes are created by yours truly unless mentioned as otherwise.

"The idea of having an IPhone is preposterous! I mean, we use it all day, sucking up its time and battery, and for what? Texting your friends, updating your feed, posting some strange comment on someones photo that people spend their whole day questioning, and then what? We turn them off, as if none of that had ever happened. What if that happened to us in real life? Think about it."

April 8th: MCA testing (dun dun dun)!!!

So today was my second day back. I ended up missing my MCA test last week so I had to make it up today. It was the reading one where you read a passage and answer a rough ten questions in order to finish it. It was 74 questions long (I'm not quite sure how I remembered that), and a big, fat, pain. I wore my fedora today, although nobody cared. So, yeah. Today wasn't very interesting. Tomorrow will be weird, interesting, and packed full of happiness and unicorns (hopefully). I hope to be blogging twice a day soon, I might start on Thursday. Anyways, I have to go. See yah!

April 7th: Back To School!

Today was my first day back at school in two weeks! I had to check in with all of the teachers and turn in late work I missed from being gone the week before spring break. California was awesome by the way. you can view my blogs from that time, after you read this one. Striet's class went by in a flash, yet art class went slower. Apparently Mr. Palm has a new nickname for me. Coleyoleyol? Really? Anyways, Ms. Krawetz's Social Studies went by slower than a sloth. Advisory was fun. We changed spots and I got to sit next to Hale and Cal. Sigrid is also at my table. In Science class I turned in my binder. Finally! Math was slow and uneventful, nothing against Ms. Meyer or anything! When I got home, I went to guitar lessons and met with Brad (my guitar teacher). I'm learning these two songs called Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child Of Mine. They're by this band called Guns'n'Roses. You've probably never heard of them (you know, the one with Axl Rose and Slash, no? Okay). Anyways, I have to go now. I'm going to post a blog with multiple pictures from California and Arizona in an upcoming blog. See yah!

Life in Arizona: World Records And Conquering The Mountain

Yesterday was very eventful, so I decided to tell you a little bit about it. It all started when my grandma heard that some people were going to attempt the world record for most skydivers in formation to come out of the plane and successfully make it to the ground. It was super cool! It looked like a puff of smoke because they were so high up. They didn't beat the world record, but it was really cool to watch! I also got to meet some of the skydivers from all across the whole entire globe. 222 skydivers were apart of it and they were all from about 29 countries. I had a lot of fun there.
Then, we decided to hike a huge mountain. It was over 3,000 feet in elevation! Anyways, we brought 5 water bottles, 1 Gatorade, 3 sandwiches, a lot of granola bars, and half a bag of kettle corn. Then, we began our trek. It took us 2 hours to get to the top, but man, the view was awesome! We could even see our town 20 minutes away! It was fantastic! Then it took us an hour and a half to get back down. Technically, we only spent 2 hours hiking and the rest taking lunch breaks and water breaks. We were very proud of ourselves (my sister especially).
Overall, yesterday was pretty fun. But I'll have to stop and some point, I guess the best time is now. See yah!

Life in Arizona: Car Rides, Golf, And Family Tricks.

Last Sunday, we left from California to go to Arizona. I was kind of annoyed that we couldn't stay for a little bit longer in Palm Springs with my friends. Instead we're in Arizona City with my grandparents (not saying I have a problem with that or anything). They have a hot tub in their backyard, and its really nice. I don't know if it's just me, or if everything here is really dusty. Ever since I've been here, I've been sneezing like I've been smelling pepper 24/7. It's really annoying.
My grandparents play golf a lot, and when people play golf a lot, they need to move a lot, and so they have a golf cart. It's really fun to drive in. As long as there's an adult watching you, you can pretty much go anywhere in Arizona city! It's super fun to take frequent trips around town and to go to the golf course. I love golfing. It's a lot of work to play a full 18 holes but I really like it.
My last exciting news of the day is that's dad taught me the coolest magic trick. I can't tell anybody because whats a cool magic trick if everybody knows it? Anyways, sorry I haven't gotten to blog for a while, it's been quite a few long days. I guess I better go. See yah!
